The 2024 Northeast Bat Working Group annual meeting will be held at the Saratoga Hilton, located in the center of Saratoga Springs, New York. Two breakfasts, a lunch, and a poster session party with appetizers are all included in addition to sessions with refreshments during breaks. Place reservations for our event by using this convenient booking link. Register below. Our special room rate at the Hilton has been extended. The rate matches the current Federal Per Diem of $121.00. Please check the booking link for current availability. We have overflow booking available at the Holiday Inn using code NEB to receive our conference rate. The Holiday inn is located several blocks south of the Hilton on the other side of Congress Park (About one mile).

The Northeast Bat Working Group (NEBWG) is comprised of agencies, organizations, industry, and individuals interested in bat research, management, and conservation located in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Virginia area regions. A winter meeting is held each year at various locations where participants present results from previous studies, provide updates on long term projects, and plan future multi-state collaborative endeavors. State representatives provide summaries of their state's bat related activities, while federal representatives provide updates on national scale policy and protection efforts.

This support provides for rental of equipment and technical support for scientific and management presentations and discussions in support of bat conservation.

The 2024 NEBWG meeting logo and shirt art is available on three items below. Our design comes from a playful image we found on a postcard mailed from London to Paris in 1907. The meeting logo will be printed on the front of the shirts and on the back of the hooded sweatshirt. These will be printed based on pre-conference orders, with very limited availability of extra shirts at the meeting, so this may be your only chance to get these items. A limited number of shirts and hoodies remain available. Check the sizes options on these garments to see current availability.
